Ram bottleneck

I bought new graphi card 1060 3 gb my specs: amd ryzen 3 1200 quad core procesor 8gb ram asus prime a320m-k ssd 250gb

Im having bottleneck in fortnite etc. with the older graphic nvidia gtx 1050 2gb i have in fortnite like 120+fps and now 80fps max with nvidia 1060 3gb

Worht buy more ram memory like 12gb or 16?

You shouldn't have a bottleneck 'cause I also have a GTX 1060 3gb and 8gb RAM and don't have any problems. Please make sure you installed new drivers for this Graphics Card.
Your GPU and CPU also should work fine together. Although everything over GTX 1060 will bottleneck your Processor everything should work fine.

i would check your video settings fortnite might be setting a higher quality setting by default since it is detecting better specs.
