Hi, great video! Here are a few observations:

1. 0:53 to 1:03 could be cut – the music builds up, but nothing happens visually.
2. 16:9 would work better – the ultra-wide format only looks good on ultra-wide monitors (though the video quality itself is excellent).
3. Use the white Systemcheats logo – the black one gets lost in dark scenes.
4. More dynamic kills, less regular running around – keeps the energy high.

Overall, awesome job! The editing transitions are on point, especially for a first attempt. Huge potential here!

I do agree with what you said, and I'm aiming to improve in editing overall.
I ended up switching from Sony Vegas into After Effects, and I hope the next video I create would be more satisfying than this.
