Ask me how I know That being said, I am in favour of keeping features in the initial release of the cheat a little more conservative, because it wouldn't be feasible to ask people not to rage in PvP, and only in PvE. For me personally, ESP and some level of aimbot would be really helpful because... I physically can't see the NPCs most of the time and that makes the game unplayable for me. So I would be using the cheat more like an aid, and less of a straight up cheat. Not sure if my words carry any weight here but I figured I'd put in my two cents.

I'm kinda curious Psychopath, what kind of "rage" features are you talking about? Can you give an example?
I agree with this completely but I worry that if rage features are possible then we can guarantee other providers will definitely add them which leads us to the bigger question, do we not have them and get completely owned constantly losing your gear in game to ragers with no way to combat it or do we have some way of fighting back? because we all know with a 100% certainty that it's going to be the case so it's a hard call to make for the staff for sure. If we had no rage features to combat others with them we'd need to have the absolute best aimbot in the world then maybe we'd be able to defend from ragers maybe but even then it'd be extremely hard especially since I've seen magic bullet already used by someone and there's no aimbot in the world gonna stop that.

Yeah this seems like a real catch 22 situation. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Having been a mod here, the one thing that I have learned about this community over the years is that we aren't like the others. We're not a bunch of cutthroats who just wanna dominate everyone into a smoldering pile of biological waste (well... I mean, sometimes it's fun but....) I think my point here is that there are games out there (like Metro) that we absolutely annihilated for the fun of it because tbh the game was crap. This game though... It has some real potential. And reading what some of the users have written here, I really feel like as a community we would be okay with having an advantage while also not running this potential into the ground.

Yes, that means other cheats might have a slight advantage over us. But what t hey will also have is a lot of heat and attention drawn to them.

In my opinion, either the high or the middle road is probably best, Maybe start with some modest features to help people get an advantage while keeping it on the down low. Over time, re-evaluate the situation and once the game has had the chance to mature, maybe allow folks to turn up the intensity a bit.

I definitely think if we move too fast here we could bury a game that could have the potential to be great. If we rage from the get go, before it even sees 1.0 it's gonna be dead, because nobody is going to want to play in a server full of rampaging cheaters.

Not sure if anyone is with me here, but I think a "little" bit of restraint might actually be better for us and the game as a whole.

I am happy with ESP, some client side features not easily observed by others (like no recoil, no sway, etc, a radar and a modest aimbot with equally modest features. I can't speak for everyone but I think that is definitely something I'd be good with, even down the line. i just wanna be able to see guys that I otherwise wouldn't. For me it's not even getting an advantage, it's levelling the playing field to make the game accessible to me. I think we got good people here and overall most people will probably be okay with this idea.

Having a modest cheat and a good game is better than having neither.
