    Security Concern Questions

Hi, so IÂ’m interested in buying the Sea of Thieves, however IÂ’ve come across some pretty legitimate concerns.

Firstly, on the Hybrid Analysis website, I found a .bin file for systemcheats with a threat score of 80/100 posted on March 3rd 2025. One of the most common reasons I see for this is “Well, antivirus flags the cheat as a threat because it needs kernel level access.” Or “it’s a false positive” And while I understand that, that isn’t necessarily an argument to the fact that Trojan viruses could still be within the files.

Trustpilot has a few reviews stating that itÂ’s a scam or it has viruses as well.

Sandbox Analysis shows that it was injecting into explorer.exe and rewriting Firefox files

But, then again, you guys have been around for quite some time, and IÂ’ve only seen a couple of negative reviews

I’m not accusing anyone of anything, and I mean no offense, I really dont. these are things that I found through research. If you were going to run a program that might steal data/passwords/etc from you, chances are you’d be at least a LITTLE bit skeptical. Most cheat sellers make most money from the cheats, and money on the side by selling info. Obviously I know you guys can’t just be like “fine here’s our source code dude”, but if there is anyway anyone could ease my worries, I’d greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks

Please note that there are false positive detections intended to protect the loader from being reverse-engineered and the nature of how it's packed.
It is important to understand that the loader is essentially an injector that requires administrative privileges to load cheats into the game. Due to its nature, it may be detected by certain programs.
However, as previously stated, any detections are to be false positives.

You can search the word "Trojan" on the site and find a lot of similar threads to this one.

And regards the low rating reviews, it's common if someone is banned due to breaking our rules or doing refunds after using our product or trying to reverse engineer our loader, etc, ofc they will leave a bad review.

You have already made some research, and lets be honest here.
If you are going into this scene, you are well aware that you have to take some risk to begin with.
You are in essence running a random ass program from "some guy on the internet".

In these cases, your only option of making yourself feel at ease is how long the site's been there for.
Everyone who has done shit like "Trojans" & "Keyloggers" survived in the cheating scene for long enough without being exposed.

Regardless, Trust has to come from you.
Whatever we write here can be interpreted as "They are trying to cover their asses" or "Trying to convince you".

So no point dabbling it in for too long in my opinion.
Make your research, see if it's worth the bother.
If not, no hard feelings anyway.
