Yes @Farbenpracht, they give HWID bans therefore, you have to use a spoofer.

Don't know where you have read that, but as far as I can see, most of the spoofers providers they are exist because of COD HWID bans.

That's right, if they doubt you, they give you a shadow ban during that review, and they can HWID ban you.
Also, if you expose your cheat playstyle, they might give you an HWID ban instantly.
Then you have to find a proper spoofer or change your current device, + have a new account so you can remove all traces of you.

but if I play safe I have a higher probability of getting a shadow than a hwid with only esp right?

By common sense yes if you play safe you won't get shadow ban or HWID ban and it doesn't matter what you are using only esp or aimbot if your playstyle is not normal and using cheat then they will take an action.
