Does it help to disable DEP?

I was wondering, after reading some articles, it seems usefull to disable DEP on games protected by VAC.
Is this right, or? Someone with some knowledge please

Run CMD as Administrator
Write "bcdedit /set {current} nx AlwaysOff"
Restart your PC

someone that can confirm this? With "knowledge" of it Because Valve makes you send your info to them so they can scan your files. But ifyou put DEP off, it should enable sending these files they need to scann your system.

Disabled DEP have more chance to get you banned on source games.
Our cheats NOT require to disable DEP.
So please keep it OptIn or AlwaysOn.
