Thread: New build

I understand that this device will cost from 3000-3500$. For a PC I think it's an excessive sum of money, if not for work.

I'd say it's way to overkill, if i was you, i'd change the CPU to a i7 8700k and clock it to 4.5GHz and get the 2080 super.

I'm currently running a I7 8700 (Non K) with a MSI GTX 1080 and a Asus TUF Gaming-pro motherboard from 2 years ago and i still run Modern Warfare 2019 at ultra with locked 144 fps

nice bud , should be a monster , you would probably be fine with 650 watt but dont waste your money on Corsair they are a bag of shite if you ask me, (for the 3080 i would go with the asus tuf models ).

What monitor(s) are you planning to run? With that kind of setup, if you have the money to throw at it, I'd highly suggest looking into a LG CX TV for your gaming activities. It supports NVIDIA and has the highest picture quality of anything you can get right now since it is OLED.
