I hate AMD. Although they are cheaper than NVIDIA's cards, I prefer NVIDIA over AMD anyday.

I've had both, and NVIDIA in my opinion is always more stable.

I recommend not going for SLI. SLI has too many issues and 1 GTX 1080 (Ti) will be more than enough for gaming and/or video editing.

But seriously both Pascal and Polaris are looking quite promising so lets see. (But NVIDIA already failed personal for me with their founders edition crap)
