Nice man, I myself am getting a 144hz monitor as well soon.. just don't know which brand :P
bought the ASUS VG248QE and asus strix 1070 xD
Thinking about that monitor, but also can't take BenQ monitors off the table :P I prefer MSI over any other brand when it comes graphics cards :)
yeah i also wanted the msi gaming x but in my country its just so much more expensive
I have the exact same monitor(its awesome), now i just need the 1070 :P
Jakob, imma need you to slide me them monitor settings if I decide to get it <3
i really hope this will improve my gaming xD i know i have wallhacks so i already know where the enemy is coming from but the 144hz should still make it smooth and hopefully improve my aim (cuz it sucks)
Once you go 144hz, you'll never want to go back to 60hz.
i should get everything tomorrow im so excited man xD
And then ship it to me :)
Congrats and make sure you'll get DisplayPort 1.2 cable :)
I have a Acer XG270HU 27" 1ms 144HZ 144p monitor, I love the 2k resolution, and a MSI 980 Ti.
Ha! Good for you for updating your graphics card at the same time. I bought a 27in, 144hz, freesync compatible monitor and forgot my GPU can't do freesync. Boy did that one hurt.
i did not get it today so i hope to get my stuff tmr :)
I'm sure you gonna love it.
And once again tho, make sure you connect the monitor through display port cable and not dual-link dvi cable as its not stable.
In short, It will either work as 120hz or will stutter like hell in 144hz.

yeah you wont get the true 144hz, I use a 144hz 1ms 1440p asus monitor and the difference is unbelievable you can turn off stuff like v sync and triple buffering, tearing is a thing of the passed + the higher response times and fps = less input lag so everything feels silky smooth, I played some cod the other day on my mates rx480 / 60hz set up I could feel my eyes burning and it felt so "unsmooth"
they have started to release 200hz monitors now don't think ill bother tho think its a bit of a gimmic 144 is great and also when I go 4k wich we all probably will and display port 1.2 only supports 120hz at 4k :( but I'm sure that will be enough too until the next gen of cards
BenQ XL2730Z 27" 1440p 144Hz and FreeSync love that boy.
200Hz monitors are way too overpriced for the small change
I read all post and everyone have garbage! best is mine!
